6 Moves For Toned & Shapely Legs

Here are some tips for the moves. Feel free to adjust the amount of sets based on your personal capacity:

1. Recliners (5 X 20 reps)

Tip: Keep your core tight are you go down for balance.

Benefits: This move works your core, thighs and butt by helping to firm up those areas.

 

2. Bird Dog Leg Curl (5 X 20 reps)

Tip: Keep your feet flexed as you perform the move.

Benefits: By keeping your feet flexed, you'll work your calves and glutes too, so this doubles up as a butt toning move!

3. Calf Raises (5 X 20 reps)

Tip: You can even hold light weights as you perform this move for added intensity.

Benefits: Working your legs isn't all about the thighs. These really help define and slim down your calves for well-defined legs.



4. Glute Gliders (5 X 20 reps)

Tip: Lean over so your chest is directly over your toes.

Benefits: This helps define your hamstrings, calves and thighs.

 

5. Jump Squats (5 X 20 reps)

Tip: Do this move in short bursts with little rest in between reps to really get your heart rate up.

Benefits: Aside from toning your legs, this move is a real calorie-burner.

 

6. Dumbbell Rear Lunge (5 X 20 reps)

Tip: Dip down as low as possible when you perform this move, though ensure that your knees don't touch the ground.

Benefits: Really work your quads, hamstring and glutes with this move and build those muscles for sculpted legs.
