PowerDot muscle stimulator is an FDA Cleared device that harnesses the benefits of Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS). The pods connect to the app on your phone via bluetooth. You select the muscle groups you want to target and an impulse is sent to the pods that causes your muscles to activate. It’s that simple.
WHAT TO EXPECT THE FIRST TIME YOU USE IT Once you pick out your training program and determine what muscle group you want to train the app will show you where to apply the electrodes. From there you use the app to start your training session. Increase the power (+) until you feel the tingling sensation in your muscles. From there continue to increase the power until you experience a comfortable muscle contraction. EMS should not be painful. If you feel any discomfort from the muscle contraction just reduce the power (-) or stop the workout in just one click.
HOW TO TRAIN WITH POWERDOT The app will walk you through the initial setup of your device, including syncing the pods with your phone. Once you’ve completed the initial setup you can immediately select the training program that suits your needs.
ENDURANCE Improves muscle endurance and fatigue resistance. Complements your endurance training workouts. Duration: 47 minutes How often: Use 4-5 times/week, before your usual workouts Best for: cyclists, runners, rowers

MAX EXPLOSIVE STRENGTH/SPEED For well-trained athletes only. Focuses on rapid muscle strength development. Complements your strength training workouts. Duration: 17 minutes How often: Use 2-3 times/week, in between your usual workouts. Best for: Athletes looking to improve short-term maximum speed-oriented disciplines (e.g. 100M sprints).
ACTIVE RECOVERY Improves and accelerates muscle recovery after an intensive endurance exercise. Duration: 20 minutes How often: Use within 2 hours after intensive training workouts or competitions. Best for: Anyone who wants to avoid muscle soreness
WARM-UP (POTENTIATION) Prepares the muscles for maximum output so you can reduce likelihood of injury. Duration: 4 minutes How often: Use 5-10 minutes before important competitions or workouts. Best for: Anyone who wants to avoid injury due to not warming up properly
